Worst - The hell my parents were put through as they sat through all my teenage committee meetings. To this day they still think I am inherently wicked. In fact, the elders made my dad a servant the day I moved out of the house.

Best - I never knew I could be such a wonderful person once I left.

    Best experience....

Learning to love and appreciate truth and logic.

    Worst experience....

Finding out that the people who taught me this maxim didn't give a shit about truth or logic but were focused on the growth and maintenance of the Watchtower.

Jaydub Believe it or not -- assemblies and CO visits, until the last year or two. 1. Almost any day in service. 2. Gradually becoming more and more judgmental.
UU Years of beautiful and brain-stretching sermons by a minister who wrote two free-verse poem/prayers every Sunday. The slow fading of refreshment and inspiration over the past few months. The church didn't change nearly as much as I did.
Pagan Building my altar and meeting my gods. Reading way too much lightweight stuff in search of something useful. Fortunately, I've found some useful sources of instruction.
