i'm such a klutz! today at work, i had pulled open my top drawer of a 5drawer filing cabinet. sitting in my chair it's right about forehead height. so i turn around and do some work which i discover i need to ask someone about. so i grab the file, turn my chair and stand up all the same time, suddenly i plop back down into my chair hard, tears in my eyes. damn filing cabinet drawer got in my way! now i'm sitting here with a bag of ice on my forehead and a big ass BUMP on my forehead! OUCH!

Poor Harmony!!!!!!! I hope you will recover but you may need the rest of the day off,,,, good excuse to go home right? Big lump on head and all. One good thing to come out of this terrible ordeal, if you make some major goofs at work , you can blame it on the lump.
I can't tell you how many times I do things like that, if there were a klutz support group , I should be in it. I have bumps and bruises from my own doing, usually because I go 90 mph everywhere I go.
Hope you don't have a headache, becareful thou , you might have hurt yourself worse than you think.
I am so unlucky with freaky things happening to me,, last week I must have been biten by somekind of spider. THe doctor told me I had an allergic reaction to it and that is why it was red, hot and swollen the size of a baseball. I never felt it happen, but of course it would happen to me. I even had to have a tetnus shot for god's sake. Everyweek, some new freak accident happens.
Let's hope that you streak of bad luck has ended.......... hugs dede

Hey Harmony, I hope you don't mind me sharing this funny story that happened to my husband-you reminded me of it.
A few years back he was at work, at a desk, he had opened the drawer to his desk, the phone rang, he is always cracking jokes and whats worse is he Laughs heartily at his own jokes (right Biggs?!) well as he was laughing, he swung around and banged his hand into the open drawer!
He ended up having his hand broken in several places and not only that-he needed surgery to place screws in there for like a year! No one at the ER believed he broke his hand from laughing-they all thought he got mad and punched the wall or something like that!
