  An wt walkaway friend and i were talking about the un ngo issue. He said he gave a talk where the outline said that jws were not to even take a job that was connected to the un. I don't remember it being stated this clearly in a wt.

  I realised that public talk outlines contain some of the more juicy stuff that the wt doesn't want to put into print in its public literature. Wouldn't it be a good idea to collect these for reference to back up claims of what wt has said? Has someone already done this?

  I have a cxomplete set of outlines up to talk #120.

  If there is any in particular you are interested in I can try to get it scanned for you or at least re-type any relevant sections.

  That would make sense.. Imagine the surprise a JW would have working in say, the NGO department of the UN and finding out that Mother was in bed with them?

  Thanks simon. These outlines could be mined for the wt jewels they contain. If more of the researchers had copies, it would expose more of the craziness we were subjected to. It would be further neutralised.

  Do you know from what yrs those are. I believe there are no copyrghts on them, so they could be plastered everywhere. I hope you are keeping them in a safe place.

  I don't think there's anything in the outlines about not taking a job that's connected to the u.n....perhaps a principle, only.

  I sat through a public talk not long ago---say, March/April OF THIS YEAR 2002--wherein the brother states: "It would be displeasing to God and a violation of God's law to do janitorial work in a blood bank".

  Is that actually IN a public talk outline, or did the brother 'throw that in' does anybody know?

  And I have always understood that the public talks were based on older Watchtowers? Is that so too?

  During the seventies they started supplying outlines detailed enough so that speakers didn't need to do any additional research. They could just add a fe words here and there.
