Bill Bowen, 44, of Draffenville faces expulsion from the church f for publicly criticizing the church's handling of sexual abuse allegations.
    J. R. Brown, a spokesman for the ' denomination, has said that parents are not punished by the church for going to the police first in cases of child molestation. He also said if the church judicial committee finds a member guilty of molestation the member is removed from all positions of responsibility and may not evangelize door-to-door without being accompanied by a fellow Jehovah's Witness.

Bill Bowen is "facing expulsion" from JW's for "publicly criticizing" the church.

"A member guilty of molestation is.....removed from all positions of responsibility and may not evangelize door-to-door without being accompanied by a Jehovah's Witness".

Child molesters are still IN and still knocking on their unsuspecting neighbors' doors - and the neighbors' don't know who's knocking......but jw's (WT Legal & elders-only) know.

JW's who speak against the WT "church" are OUT.

Wowwwwwww, what an incredible double standard!

I don't know what it is about the members of this board, but there is something that continually gets overlooked:

    1) Watchtower claims that child molesters can not hold postions of responsibility in the organization.

    2) Since at least World War 2, WOMEN cannot hold positions of responsibility in the organization .

I hope someday SOMEBODY else sees the ramification of this besides ME. Child molesters, as 'punishment' for their crimes, are 'reduced' to the status of women.
