I read the letter and it brought me back a few years ago. I routinely traveled to a location where the Watchtower had a long standing special rate in a pretty nice hotel. I would always requested and get the JW rate. I guess they don't like apostate doing that.

It is interesting that the WTBTS's website will now indicate which hotels are "fully booked."

What the hell? You use their new website to book a room? This is so weird for WT, they must get a kickback or some $ for a referral through this. Also, the fact they trained 40 guys "to become proficient in effective hotel negotiations" is just really weird. They must be pushing to the hotels that they can generate good money with the hundres to thousands of witnesses at the conventions. I know restaurants that now advertise to the JWs during the conventions because they tip well and many come in big groups. Showing their true colours, I guess
