I don't understand what that means.
Pressing the JW ministers? (that would be a waste) Or is that political terminology for something else in England?
We don't have that term here in the States. A minister is some kind of leader of a church here.

Dia - an investigation would be good because it would put the JW under heat it had never felt before here in the UK. They could TRY and lie but it would be revealed!
My JW mom asked me why I had a letter with "House of Commons" on the envelope!! I just said it was private...but I get the feeling she will try to delve deeper. Thats a definate DFing offense to write to local government!

I got a reply back from the email I sent to Panorama thanking them for the programme (hope I get this right, don't have the email in front of me right now)
The programme had the highest viewing figures in the current series and has provoked the second highest number of responses of any they have done.
I would be very surprised if other countries didn't start to look closer at them now.
Wow Simon, I didn't realise that the Panorama programme had been watched by so many people! Thats great.
I hope they do a follow-up.....

We had watched the program on our computer here in the U.S.
I have been corrosponding with a reporter for a major Boston newspaper and made reference to Panorama.
Hopefully there will be more exposure of this worldwide problem of Pedophile and child rape within the Jehovahs Witness organization.
Just bumping this up to see if there is any new news.

Dia, In Parliamentary democracies, a government department is ultimately accountable to a Minister who decides departmental policy. Ministers are accountable to the Prime Minister. You'll typically have a Minister for Health, a Minister for Agriculture, a Minister for Transport and so on.
