And of course, once a website is published, it can't be updated. You put it out there eight years ago, and buddy, it's out there. That's why they call it a cobweb, huh.

Mp3 files??? Here they are http://www.spaceweathersounds.com/sndbites.htm But they aren't really recordings of the magnetosphere. They are all fake. It's a clever ruse put on by the universities and govt.

I think there's truth in what Jan shared, but it doesn't satisfactorily explain all anomally. Even skeptics encounter the wierd. My own experiences are similar to spice & peppermint's. Adolf Hitler is alleged to have encountered his "green man". Cecil Rhodes was scared witless in his encounter with a similar 'green man' (color might've been blue). Pagan shamans can perform remarkable things. And other scientists have been experimenting with Tesla technology, transmitting electromagnetic waves into the atmosphere and through the earth's crust. And there seems to be a credible case for natural magnetic anomally in different places around the earth that disturbs most animal and human life.

SS, not to worry. I did go to the site, and I did listen to about 2/3 of one of the files. It just didn't interest me. Maybe I'll read about their findings one day in National Geographic, or Smithsonian (I subscribe to both).

As the night wore on I got into kind of an antagonistic mood. Sorry about that. Also, I wasn't mentioning the MP3 stuff in an attempt to discredit them or you or that theory. They could be right about the noises and still be dumb enough to put up wave files. It was a side note, just a comment I made because WAV is a terrible format to use for the internet due to their size.

I tend to agree with COMF's explanation. There is some form of communication going on at a level we don't completely understand yet, but will someday.

It reminds me of times when I've turned 180 degrees for no reason to look directly at someone who was staring at me.

On a vacation 15 years ago I met a friendly redneck and his wife who were scuba diving in Cozumel. His name was Malcolm. We ended up spending quite a bit of time with this couple, they were friendly and we scuba'd together for four days. We had a great time. They took us out to eat at the only pizza place on the island. We said we would get back together to do it again soon. Time passed and we didn't stay in touch at all. Years passed and I headed back to Cozumel for some more scuba diving with friends. We went back to the pizza restaurant late one night where Malcolm had taken us out to eat. We were sitting there waiting for our table, talking about him, and he and his wife walked into the restaurant. Talk about shocking. Definitely communication going on at a subliminal level. We always wanted to get back together, and we did.

I like this article a lot. In psychology, excess dopamine is part of a theory of why schizophrenics lose grip on reality.

I am a believer in the paranormal....and if thats due to high dopamine levels then fine! It doesn't change anything really about my beliefs. E.g. I realise that sometimes in meditation I induce a hypnotic state. Things experienced in this state can be said to be "fabrications" but I choose to see it that whatever I experience has come from my own capacity and I'm amazed at what the human brain can do! We all have deity in us, in my opinion.
