Refer them to Ted Jaracz's recent statement on camera not to "go beyond what is written". Then ask them for a written statement in Watchtower publications about beards. Don't let them fob you off with vague passages about dress and grooming, or "stumbling". Ask where it's written that Jehovah's Witnesses can't have beards. Ask about written versus unwritten rules.
