Hello.
Ken Little is the Canadian branch overseer. I have met him once (across the lunch table at a circuit assembly). My immediate reaction was that he is a complete company man, and fulfills his name perfectly.
I should like to know a little (har har) more about him, his background, business dealings, Watchtower career, personality. Anything.

Thirty years ago, when I was in, I had great respect for Ken Little. I considered him down to earth, unpretentious and genuine. He may have changed since then, and of course he would follow Brooklyn's directives to the letter or he would not be where he is. I still respect the man.
One reliable account I can give you is about his request for accommodations during a French District assembly in Montreal around 1970. He asked the rooming department that he be assigned to a French family to stay in their home. He could have gone to a hotel, but preferred humbler surroundings.
Guess where rooming assigned him. He was assigned to a former congregation servant's home, The reason he was a former congregation servant is that a number of years earlier he had been sleeping around with several sisters in his congregation all at the same time. Each one thought that she was the only one. When one found out she was not the only one, she squealed, loud and clear. He repented and took his demotion and was always considered in good standing after that, but his privileges were reduced.

I recall the summer of 1971 in Montreal when we had a convention at Blue Bonnets Race Tract on Decarie Blvd. I met Ken Little and his wife. He and his wife were taking the same bus as my sister and I were to our apartment. They were staying in a private home . We chatted for quite a long time. Ken Little knew my father extremely well as my dad was an elder and worked on many Kingdom Hall builds and He also knew my fathers father very well as my grandparents had been special pioneers in Ontario and In the Maritimes for many years, establishing new congregation where ever they were assigned.
On several occasion I spoke with Ken and to me he always seemed down to earth and a humble person. I think his wife's name is Betty. isn't it?
I heard Ken Little give talks at district conventions many many times as I was growing up. It wasn't until 1984 at the DC in Halifax, NS when I had the 'privilege' of meeting him face to face.
At the time, I was a shy proper little 20 year old JW female. He made a point of reading my name on my lapel card (in retrospect, I wonder if he wasn't really checking out my boobs...) and we talked briefly about my recent move from Montreal and how I felt a bit homesick, and that I thought I would be an emotional wreck if it weren't for the extended "family" of JWs.
He said: "That's nice. Why aren't you pioneering?" Then he excused himself to talk to the group of 'brothers' who were waiting for him.
At the time, I was in awe. Such is the way of the shy proper little 20 year old JW female. I would be much less impressed today. But he did come across as a very down-to-earth, genuine person, albeit a total company man.

I'm gonna bump this 11 year old thread because Ken Little's life story is in this month's study edition of the WT. You can read it all on JW.org here. In short:
AFAIK he does not consider himself "annointed". He's the "top guy" in JWs in Canada, he would know everything that goes on related to JWs in Canada. I spoke to him a few times, he seemed fairly normal but with that tract record he has to be a huge "company man" to move up the ladder that fast. He's probably the best known Canadian JW after Glen Howe (a JW lawyer, died in 2008 at 89 years of age). Ken was also the one who signed the "settlement agreement" to take watchtower.ca from Peter Mosier.
