Two nice "cones" .....a bum that will fit in one hand and...................thats about it!
Putting all seriousness aside........a sweet personality can overide beauty. Beauty is what you see the fastest of the two.

First I have to admit that that whole Feminine thread had me wondering about everyones views on what is beautiful.
After that I noticed that more women than men have posted on this therad---and a couple of men didnt even respond merely skirted the issue...I wonder why that is (please---not trying to flame anything)
Bitter mango-------- ((((((((HUGS)))))))) I think you and I have more than similiar looks...we have similiar views.
omiecoop---you are very welcome. I always wonder what makes people tick tock...and many of the "fluff" threads (or as I&P and myself were calling them little bits of joy and happiness) I start is because I am always learing new things and want different views and opinions andlike to know why and how some poepl think. I think there is beauty in that.
Moe--You will always be beautiful to me
evenespecially when we dont see eye-to-eye. It measn that you have confidence that our friendship can stand the many tests and differences that are put upon it.I&P---all I have to say is that Kurt Cobain was very beautiful...in his life, happiness, sorrow and death. Thank you for the pics.
edited to add---> lastcall - thank you
For me beauty is the smallest flower in the yard---very pretty but unpretentious. It does not try to outshine its flower friends but merely adds to the entire place. Beauty is the soul of a child that is pure and innocent and loves the simple things. beauty is rainbows and all nature has to offer. Beauty is knowing that many others on this board look deep within for their beauty. Beauty is holding a newborn baby.beauty is knwoing that someone is thinking about you even if they arent there to show you. Beauty is this and much more.

I don't have a definition... Assuming you're talking about beauty that leads to romance... It always seems to be different w/ every relationship, for me... Some different blend of qualities that I love, plus some undefinable spark. Some qualities I'm always attracted to are confidence (love for self... having one's own interests... etc), sincerity/honesty, intelligence, love for animals & children, a hopeful perspective... a strange blend of softspokenness & outspokenness that I don't think I can describe in words...
Physical beauty as society defines it, in my experience, does not often go along w/ inner beauty... The stereotypical supermodel so often ends up getting by on looks alone that she ends up being a pretty shell of a person... The 2 very best relationships I've ever been in were with women who were "overweight" by society's standards... I guess that my ideal of physical beauty would be long dark hair, my height (5'6"), light-colored eyes, athletic... But every time I've met "her" she's been spoken for, so I'm not exactly holding my breath It's definitely the inner qualities that do it for me...
edited because "along" isn't the same word as "alone"... LOL... SpiderMonkey... "a loon, but not loonly"

Just gave me goosbumps...
Beauty is a song that moves you...
Beauty lies in the pain of childbirth...
Beauty lies in memories of the past, the good and the bad...
Beauty is a star filled sky that makes you ponder so many things...
Beauty is the laughter of children like the sound of angel's wings...
Beauty is in a gesture of somebody that touches your soul the way no other has...
Beauty is in a blue star and a special baby born after the snow in a place where it is not supposed to...
Beauty is in the fireworks on the Fourth of July...
Beauty is in a friend when she takes you to the movies when you are in despair...
Beauty is all around in the saddest of times, if you just open your heart...

oh spice!!!
kurt was one of those heartbreakingly beautiful people. he was beautiful because he was too fragile for this world...
I'm not like them, But I can pretend, The sun is gone,
but I have a light, The day is done, but I'm having fun
I think I'm dumb, Or maybe just happy, Think I'm just happy
My heart is broke, But I have some glue, help me inhale
And mend it with you, We'll float around, and hang out on clouds
Then we'll come down, And have a hangover...Have a hangover
Skin the sun, Fall asleep, Wish away, The soul is cheap
Lessons learned, Wish me luck, Soothe the burn
Wake me up
I'm not like them, But I can pretend, The sun is gone,
but I have a light, The day is done, but I'm having fun -- "Dumb" from "In Utero" -

I see no beauty in kurt Cobains death, and obviously, there wasn't enough in his life. He was, I must admit, a good looking guy.
