Dutchie, I probably have as many hours flying as I do driving. In flying, only crashed once and wasn't injured. But, I have had been in 6 car accidents with one leaving lingering pain to my neck and shoulders. Each wreck was within 2 miles of my house, one right in front of my house. But, I have driven all over the world in many countries without incident. I have flown all over the world too and never had an incident in a commercial airplane. The odds of a car wreck are really high and the odds of an airplane crash even higher.

What I am saying is that your flight will go fine. I too am apprehensive about flying, thinking the odds may be catching up to me. But to date, they haven't. Flying is actually the safest mode of transportaion. The reason it sounds so worse is that in the rare instance one does go down, it is big news and is spread all over the media.

You'll be fine and enjoy your vacation :o)

I have a theory about celebrity deaths...

They don't really die. There is an Island in the Philippines where all the Celebs go when they have enough dough and are sick of all the prying eyes of the public. They fake their own death and head off to this island. If they end up needing a little more cash, they make a new album (the lost songs of Tupac) and rake in the new dough. Too many celebs die for it to be a coincidence. Either that or the movie "Josie and the Pussy Cats" is right. I find that a highly underated movie. I was funnier than hell. (hell is pretty damn funny you know). Of course I have no "physical evidence" to "validate" my "claim", but it has been said, that a reasonable person would conclude that some scholars think that my claim could be correct.
