Syn: Please.. tell me again how your SYN2 account was not created to participate in flames? I don't buy your story since you do participate in flame threads. Then, there are some with multiple accounts that glut the board with fluff threads. This does effect the time more sincere threads may spend on page one.

Imbue: Well, I may have participated in flame threads, but you and I both know that I'm not here to troll. It's not like I gave my second account a different name entirely - it is just my nick with a 2 attached to the front, so as to make it clear that it's my second login. If yours truly was a troll, I believe Simon would have recognised this and kicked my arse off the board well before I reached EMPEROR???

What is the difference between a fluff thread and a sincere thread? All of my threads are sincere, but quite a few may be construed as fluff...

SYN: I wasn't referring to your threads it was a general comment about why multiple accounts can be a problem even if they aren't usually involved with flame threads. Fluff is great but a glut of fluff makes the board less homogenous. If one poster posts 6 fluff threads everyday that one poster dominates the board with their ideas. This leaves little room for sincere threads to be enjoyed since we all only use the active forum. Lets say it would be similar to reading a newspaper with only comic strips by one or two persons and no content.

My imbue2 account was deleted so your using the wrong argument with me. I'm just pointing out that your excuses for a second account is only your assumption and not something Simon has posted as an escape clause.

I hope it doesn't seem like I'm giving you a hard time here and in other places. I enjoy your posts but you aren't aware of what goes on all the time. As you recently admitted in other places.

BTW... the pic I have of SYN is very nice!

Well, there's nothing I can see wrong with my posting habits. I often have to wait for LOOOONG compiles to finish while I'm working at night...during the day I generally don't post, purely because it's usually way too busy at my work, people clamouring for my attention, etc, and besides, it wouldn't look good if my boss were to see me here all the time. But, at night, it's a different story. I'm a fast typist, and a dab hand with the mouse, so for me to drop 40 posts on the board is no effort at all, and I'm here pretty much every night of the week....when you put all these things together with my naturally chatty, one-lining nature, you get somebody who will occasionally need an extra account. To be honest, it probably wouldn't kill me if this account, 2SYN, was zapped, but I still feel kinda close to him and realize that I should go and find some professional assistance, preferably from MrMoe

Edited to add: Lately, instead of using multiple accounts, it's been easier for me to simply edit other posts. Often, right after I post, I'll edit my post again to add additional thoughts and so forth. This has led me to reducing the number of times I have to use my 2SYN account.

Reborn I only had 40 posts on the second account before it was deactivated. It was only a few days when I used the posting limit of 25. At that time I was being confronted by many here and even being accused of being someone else. So, using 25 posts against the couple hundred posts the pack of rabid dogs can use is nothing by compassion. And most of those in the rabid dog pack have well known multiple accounts. One even recently flaunted his second account on the board. btw..He's one of your favorite posters here.

And which pic would this be? I have a few, but strike9 is being pissy with me tonight - here is one, strike9 kept timing out on all the other pics cause they are too big. This one (which happens to be a SUPER good shot) I clipped to smaller size. Of course u can always go to strike9 and view my album, it has quite a few of him there.
