Why Are You Upset with the Society?

I just don't get why all of you are so upset with the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. Now, they did make few mistakes, even though they are God's channel of communication. Well, stuff happens. Now, Russell was not a bad cat. He believed that God would take all the good Christians up into the sky, 35 years later in 1914. Well, sum of a gun, it just didn't turn out that way. Sometimes, even a direct pipeline to God can be missread. Well, anyway, time goes on and this here Rutherford guy shows up, who really was in touch with God. You see, God told him to build a mansion in California so all the old timers mentioned in Hebrews could show up and have a new lease on life. Well, the old timers were stuborn, and never did show up, so during the great depression, Rutherford got to live in a mansion whilst his faithful followers were eating dirt. Now, I don't see anything wrong with this picture. I do not understand those who criticize this perfect arrangement, created by God himself.

Yeah larc...in fact they are really nice people. So patriotic as to not even salute the flag. They really support family unity, just ask Canada father about his family situation...So very considerate in abstaining from blood, someone else can surely use it. they refuse to fight or go to war...saving a spot for someone else to die in thier place and defend thier patriotic lifestyle, and just think how hospitable to pedophiles all around the world. Dam fine folks indeed!

You'd better use your dictionary and look up the word perfect!!!!!!!! Being fooled, brainwashed, child abuse, dying brothers in Malawi, being a member of an organisation you detest..etcetcetc... doesnt look perfect to me!!!!

C'mon, don't be so literal with the term PERFECT, gosh darnit.

PERFECT doesn't mean PERFECT, as in perfect. It means "well fitting to the situation", as in "the glove fits PERFECTLY".

Just remember the organization is perfect and will always serve Jehovah's purpose wholeheartedly, whereas the expendable people inside are imperfect!

The people love in there LOVE you with a PERFECT LOVE, that is, one fitting your status within the congregation. If your status is little, they love you little, and that's just perfect !!

Yes......we are indeed needful of watching our motives, as those who spoke against Moses met their untimely fate.

How sad it would be, this close to the end of the system of things, to lose our perspective and forget who has taught us what we know about God; that indeed this is the generation that Jesus spoke of; they are the ones who have kept us free from involvement with politics, especially with the Beast herself, the UN!! And that we have been warned off from using ANY blood components, as my card from the 60's and 70's so rightfully attests!

And how wrong it would have been if any poor sister had divorced her homosexual husband, when of course the slave has taught us that homosexuality is not the porneia that would break the marriage vow!!

There is no reason for us to think negatively of this orginization.

Just because people have died because of a false teraching doesn't mean they are not Gods true org.

Just because they can't seem to come up with a truthfull teaching and stick with it
instead of changing it every couple of years.

Just because they are no better than the worldly religions they are always putting down for doing the same things they do.

Just because they have, instead of a clergy, a group of men that dictate how JWs must think and act to be accepted by God.
Actually, I guess they are a clergy.

The wbts must be truly perfect or you wouldn't have so many people that love you and the org and agree with you.

When I had problems the org stepped right up and helped me.
