Hi knighthawk1981-

I thank you for the compliment regarding my passion, alas I am but one voice of many crying out against the crimes of the Watchtower against humanity.

To answer your question will require a bit of history pertaining to my affiliation with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I was born a 3rd generation member into the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. My grandfather on my mother's side converted to the religion immediately after WWII ( according to his own admission the doctrine of everlasting life in peace and harmony appealed to him after being subjected to the horrible atrocities committed by the Nazis in concentration camps) and he went on to remain in the organization for 53 years until his death, having served 45 of them as an elder in the congregation.

His wife, my grandmother, was also a Jehovah's Witness. She served as a regular pioneer for well over 20 years by his side. Sad to say, she also lived the majority of her life and died believing in this religion, penniless and empty (funny how the JW friends who allegedly care for you so much are nowhere to be found as you are on your deathbed eh?).

My mother was baptized at an early age and has remained a faithful Jehovah's Witness for over 40 years. Despite my attempts to rationalize with her on the contradictions found within their doctrine on subjects including organ transplants, blood transfusions, military service... the hypocrisy of their actions on toics such as the UN affiliation, the pedophilia scandal.. etc.. she remains steadfast that I have turned apostate and will have little to no contact with me.

My brother and I were baptized at the same Circuit Assembly in 1992 at the age of 11. While I remained a Jehovah's Witness, I was very proactive and by the age of 16 was reading at the Book Study, carrying the microphones, leading the group for service on occasion, and aiding in distributing magazines from the literature counter. Needless to say, from their perspective and my own familys', high expectations were made of me.

Over time, I began to see the hypocrisy, lust for money, and conditional love found to be so rampant within this CULT. After conducting research on my own into their literature after my grandfather's death ( I now have the annual WT and Awake bound volumes from 1945 - 2000. ) I soon realized that I had dedicated my life, and even more sadly, that my grandparents had lived and died, and my mother had spent all of her life believing in and willingly doing the bidding of a book publishing corporation only seeking revenue at the expense of people's lives. They promise everlasting life and happiness and unity, but it is all a pipe dream.

I could no longer in good conscience remain a Jehovah's Witness, even having my name affiliated with their kind made me nauseous. That said, I disassociated myself from their ranks in Fall of 2001.

After doing so, I essentially lost all communication with my immediate family.

My mother believes I am an apostate and an abomination, and told me to my face how I was not the son she raised and how it would have been better had I not been born.

My brother and I no longer speak, and he had the audacity to say to my face what a shame it will be for me to be destroyed at Armaggedon, and how he would have to explain to our deceased grandparents once they are resurrected how I had turned my back on God, and was subsequently destroyed for it.

I also have a 18 month old nephew whom I love unconditionally, but he will not allow me to have any type of relationship with him. It saddens me to know that he will be raised in this cult.

After seeing how they disrespect the honor of the dead by outlining the talks as a JW infomercial, after seeing how so many live and suffer to protect the image of the organization through issues such as the blood doctrine and pedophilia, after living and experiencing how the CULT divides families, after learning the Watchtower's true motives.. YES.. you could say I am ANGRY.

My childhood was stolen from me, and that is something I will never get back.

My blood-relatives family was taken from me solely due to the application of rules the Watchtower Society dictates, and a relationship with them is something I will likely never regain.

So yes, I fight the Watchtower aggressively. I have distributed fliers on the street on occasion to people encouraging them to learn more about this manipulative cult. I have spread the word about Dateline and the silentlambs, so as to get the viewing public more knowledgeable about the Watchtower's wicked deeds. I have shown my coworkers information from Watchtower literature which disgusted them so they swore they would never speak to a Jehovah's Witness again, and I made them promise they would teach the same to their own family and friends. They agreed.

In doing so, I have likely prevented hundreds, if not thousands of people from EVER getting involved with this sick cult.

I am also happy to report that in the last year I have aided five people I grrw up with in exiting the Jehovah's Witness organization. Five young people whom grew up in this religion as I did, and will NEVER allow their children or generations beyond to make the same mistake.

I am what the Watchtower Society fears most knighthawk1981. An individual who is young, educated, proactive, and angry.

The Watchtower has many sins to pay for.

Your comment is also true. To clarify, I am multiracial. My father is Italian, and my mother is Puertorican, so I am both.
