My wife has recently become very curious about my activity on my iPad. I delete my browsing history but if she should discover this site and my identity here, she will gladly hand me over to the hangman, something I have managed to avoid for quite some time now,

I hit the "sign out" button, but I find that I'm still logged in!

    Wassup with that?

I noticed this to in the past although it hasn't really been an issue for me.

Try going to "settings" on your iPad, scroll down to "Safari", then scroll down to "Clear History and Website Data." This should manually clear the login session.

Cappytan, thanks, but won't that lose my data on other websites, too?

    It's the Hotel California here!

You can also go to the general menu and click on usage. Then click on manage storage. Go to safari, and click on edit. Find the site cookies and delete them. This should sign you out for next time you come back here, without affecting other sites.

im thinking stillin's wife is more concerned about porn...

Also be sure to 'delete last hour' of history each time you visit here. I bet if you delete all your history that will make her more suspicious.

Stillin's wife is concerned about stillin having any conversations with other women, even if there is no real threat. Emotional cheating, I think she called it.

so, I have friends who are women. Major crime!

but, really, shouldn't a person be able to sign off of a website, then use their password and sign back in?

Use a Chrome app and browse "incognito" when visiting site you want to keep private. No cookies or history stored. I'm guessing you share your Ipad with her? Buy one for her and password protect yours.

A person should be able to, yes. Maybe it's a glitch. And I'm sorry about your wife's extreme jealousy. Maybe she will grow out if it if she becomes less insecure someday.

She hacked her way past the password protection on my iPad. Thankfully, I had swiped my browsing history here off of my Google search history. She was more interested in my Facebook contacts.

Of course, she intends to report me to the elders for this so called "adultery" but I really don't need matters to be compounded by my visiting this site. Love you guys, but I'm still in the game.
