This is a controversial post because it relates to your PERSONAL GROOMING & DRESS.

PROBLEM: JR Brown & Watchtower have managed to create an IMAGE PROBLEM for Bill Bowen & SilentLambs

In JW land he isn't a VICTIMS ADVOCATE, he is simply a DECEITFUL APOSTATE

SOLUTION: Mess with their game and more fun: Mess with their minds.

(Okay, honestly, this isn't a total solution it's just a few dents in their armor but here's the plan:)

WHEN WE MARCH FOR SILENTLAMBS WE DON'T LOOK LIKE APOSTATES!

WHY BOTHER?

What group forms opinions almost totally on appearance? JW's right?

Remember their brilliant comments following Dateline?

How come Erica wore a cross? Why did Erica's dad have long hair? What's with Holly's tattoos? (You would have thought the show was about dress codes)

Remember your own life: Hair length, moustache size, beard, side burns, cleavage, skirt length, etc.

They have antiquated but nonetheless potent consideration for appearances.

SURPRISE 'EM: What happens if we don't fit their IMAGE of an APOSTATE?

What happens if we look just like they do? When they see the article in the local press we look like ordinary normal JWs?

Think they'll wonder if we are in fact EVIL APOSTATES?

Even to the world in general we will look like regular JWs not RADICALS

Bill's image problem has nothing to do with his dress but we can help change the overall image nevertheless.

One thing we do not want is violence at the march.

As Nano said we should "look" like them. I'm sure the whole world is going to watch us. Maybe we should all dress up nicely. Let the people say, "These seem to be a nice group of people. Maybe the Silent Lambs do have issues," rather than "No wonder they got DF'd."

I really wish I could go (I'll be moving ). But those who are planning to attend the meeting, please remember that this is a peaceful march, not a riot. Those jws think we are monsters. Let's show them how wrong they are.

Sunshine is right we cannot let them just dismiss us with "no wonder they got DF'd". We have to play their game and get past the appearance test

Typical question from new JWs in the Yahoo JW chat room (really it is an Ex JW chat room but oh well)...

"If you aren't Jehovah's Witnesses WHY ARE YOU HERE? WHY DONT YOU LEAVE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!? WHY do you name it JEHOVAHS WITNESSES THEN!?!?!?!?!?!"

We have found that honest open discussion with most of them is fruitless. I am not a christian. I do not believe in Jehovah. But those exes that do believe in many of the same teachings as jehovah's Witnesses still make no headway. No matter what we say, how we look, how we live, they have already made their decision. There are a few that listen when we tell them our personal stories and do not call us liars. The same thing will occur when we march. Violence? No of course not. But militant speech and dress? Absolutely. I am not going to cut my hair. Well I might, maybe, PERHAPS consider shaving half of it again. Leaving the other half long. The rest of the world is not JWs and do not judge everything on appearance (as demonstrated by the fact that I live in conservative Cincinnati and when I wore my hair in that style I got not even one second glance. People just don't care about stuff like that anymore).

So how do we answer when they ask the above questions in OUR (ex jw/jw/non jws) chat room?

"We are apostates and we named this room such so that we could trick you into coming in here so that we could draw you away from your faith in the god jehovah, to such deeds as prostitution, drug abuse, alcohol addiction, theft, and other sundry wicked deeds. Then when armageddon comes you will be bird seed bucko! (Or lolita if it is a broad).

My personal answer is "Because JW broads are like total hotties man. Groups like JWs, Moonies, Mormons, The People's Temple, and Branch Davidians seem to attract a disproportionately high number of hot broads. That of course means that the broads that leave are hotties too. Thus JWs broads are hot and Ex JW broads are hot. And to top it off JW chicks are like totally EASY man! You'd be surprised yo!

Then when they complain I state, "TRUE JWs chat on Paltalk, http://www.paltalk.com/ "

Oh and then I accuse them of being apostate themselves. Usually for something frivolous like the spelling of their online name.

What will I do if I go to the the march in Sept? Not sure. Personally I think I am going to keep a low profile because I've some plans of my own in relation to people that I know personally that have been convicted of child molestation in one form or another and I don't want to tip them off....yet. But if I do speak, I won't be gentle and I won't mince words, and I dont give a flippin polycarp crudle noodle who likes it or not.

Take out those nice shirts--at least -- if you can't bear a tie and suit.

No one takes B. Spears seriously, so for the purposes of this event, let's not

dress like her.

People in denial will search for any little thing to jump on. No matter what you do, they will find something if they want/need to cling to their notions. And that won't be your fault.

I think you should just be yourselves. And if that means you want to dress in a way that shows them that you are just like them, fine. Do it.

And if you are there just to show your support and you don't want to create a particular appearance for their sake, I think you should do that too.

The bottom line is that the more people show up, the more support there is for silentlambs and Bill Bowen. And you should not say that you won't come because you do or don't want to adhere to a particular dress code.

If some do, they should hang together if they want to make an appearance for appearance sake. Their appearance will be stronger if they do.

But please encourage everyone to come, playing their game or not.

Numbers and media and social pressure are all we have. And whether they listen or not, someone will. And that will be someone who is able to tell them what they MUST do, whether they like it or not.

Everyone's points are just as valid as mine, but I just think it would be a great PR Ploy if it looked like we had just marched out of the Bethel Complex.

I think it would be confusing to the world and to the press and maybe even mess with the JW Dub's minds a little. Like who are they? Where did they come from? Are they active? Are they in my hall? Is this scandal for real?

I'm not saying that we should look good to the Bethelites. Aren't we going to have camera crews from various news media? Other people, whom we are trying to reach out to, are going to watch us, too. They are going to compare us to those well-dressed up jws. I'm sure the WTS will have bunch of young Bethelites stand in front of the building making a human wall.

We don't want other people, who are not jws or haven't heard of jws, to say, "No wonder they got excommunicated."
