Your above comment about showing the lurkers the weakness of Bleep's (The Borg Party Line) arguments is the reasons I've been steering people who know little of the JW's to loyalist sites like JustJW's, and JWzone, as well al posts by Bleep, You Know, and comforter on this site. What this does, is to show your everyday Joe and Jane out there how the JW's really feel about them and "This system of things". I also show them how they feel about those who disagree with their policies, and every last one of them has peen really pissed off about how arrogant, and full of themselves these people who show up on their doorsteps really are.
One of the guys at work that I showed some of these threads and selected posts to, came up to me on Monday to tell me how he got a visit from the friendly neighborhood JW's that Saturday. Instead of just telling them "No thank you" he started asking them about how they felt about molestation in the congregations, as well as how they feel about how they treat people who once agreed with them but no longer do. He said they turned from "Diabetic coma inducing sweetness" to being downright rude and telling him how he didn't know what he was talking about. His comment to me was: "Man what a bunch of freaky people. They're kind of scary."
So larc, keep up the good work of pointing these things out. Brick by brick, piece by piece, this sort of information being brought to the awareness of people outside of the Borg will tear down the Watchtower with the voice of reason and logic.
And finally to my cousin who DA'd a little over a week ago who now lurks on this board : Hang in there dude, your in good company. Thanks for the insight and ideas, and STOP LURKING and post something. I think your ideas have value, and I'm sure others will as well. Besides I'm sure the reason you DA'd will bring a few sorely needed laughs.

CoolBreeze, that is an excellent strategy. We may not be able to bring too many out of the organization, but we certainly can innoculate the general public from the subtle, persuasive tactics of the believers. I remember back in 1996, I wrote some stuff about the JWs. My secretary read it, and said that she would never look at the JWs in the same way after she had read what I had written. Education of the general public is the answer in my opinion.

This is defenately something that is going to come bak and bite the org. in the ass like a shark.
I feel sorry for all those people who get up in the mornings and get dressed and prepare themselves to go out and "Preach the good news" truly believing in what they are doing and have absolutely no idea about what going on in the org. outside of the service meetings at the KH.
They are truly totally unprepared to deal with what they will be confronted with on a larger scale in the future.
There like little kids obeying their parents.

Crazydrinker. You have failed once again and have not addressed my issues of ethics. Instead you have looked at the side of this website with its propaganda.
Some people fail to think about the principle of confidentiality and the do no harm principle, much like you.
Why is that?
Also on the matter of my view, you can see I am not acting like a clown with abusive speech and persistence on one question. I am not in those countries. Maybe you can pay for the price of the ticket so I can see how they are in those Congregations? No proof was provided with the Watchtower. Someone is not doing a good job "Watching the Watchtower here".
I went over my limit yesterday but I still answered the question the best of my ability at the time.

(Matt.10:7) And in his prophetic command to true Christians who would be living during the conclusion of the system of things, he said: "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness."(Matt. 24:14) What did that mean?
It did not mean that they were to build churches, ring a bell, and wait for a congregation to assemble to hear them give a sermon once a week. The Greek verb here rendered "preach" (ke`ry'so) means, basically, "make proclamation as a herald." The idea is not delivering sermons to a closed group of disciples but, rather, making open, public declaration.
Jesus himself set the example as to how it was to be done. Would you like more examples of this?
