Yep, there's nothing like the feeling of being free from the clutches of the borg.
Since my exit I have made sure that I cast my vote.
My first election was awesome, I went down and voted, got some beers and sat with my cousin getting juiced while the votes were being counted. Can't remember the result apart from being hung over.

I voted ever since I left the dubs. I think that I am a very conscientious voter. I read the voters pamplet cover to cover, read the newspaper editorials, and ignore the commercials. I take the responsibility very seriously.
As for my ideal political party, I would belong to the Leave Us the Hell Alone party. Since there isn't one, I vote for the candidates closest to that ideal. After being controlled all my life, I am very anti-legislation, anti-government control. I am especially against trying to legislate morality or religious ideology. Just had way too much of that back when I was a Dubbie.
