I think this is another one of those fun things that is probably just all hoaxes and mis-sightings

To have survived so long there would surely have to be a large enough breeding population but how would they exist dotted about all over the world? The lack of a body ever is very telling IMHO

I know some famous climbers have claimed to have seen them but I think this is just publicity seeking ... it always seems that people have a book out or something to sell.

Hey TR,I live in the Canadian Mountains.Very rugged country,with many very large wild animals.Some cats are bigger than my dog,and he`s one big dog.I was out hiking in the backwoods,humans rarely go to this spot.I know the sounds of the forest in these parts,and the sounds of the animals.I don`t know what kind of creature screamed at me but it was one big sucker,and nothing I had ever heard before.It was about 300yrds away when it let me know not to come back.It sounded like it wieghed 500lb`s+ and it had a female voice,not human but human like.I don`t believe I`ve ever hiked out of the bush that quickly before.Now that area is a recreation area,and people go tromping through there all the time.You`ll still come across big cats ,bear and deer,but nothing like I experienced that day...OUTLAW

Hey TR,there was alot of water and real estate between us.So I didn`t get to smell what ever it was.It was a few yards off the beach on the other side of the lake.I was off my side of the beach,just about to go up a mountain,on foot.I had just crossed a bridge that had come close to its terrritory..I had heard about a strange animal from a friend,another mountainman.He told me he went there one evening,and this weird animal was screaming.When he go`s in the bush,he takes his dog`s,they are big dogs.If they`re not fighting something ,they`ll fight each other,LOL.When whatever it was,screamed,he said those dogs ran under his legs.I thought he was just pulling my leg...Until I heard that scream..Dude,that scream will put the fear of god into you..We could probably follow it up country,..but I`d rather not...OUTLAW
