It took me longer to get to MS than it did others. But by the time I got overlooked I was quite glad.

True. These days those males who are not yet ministerial servants but are finding out how the Watchtower Society heads have sullied Jehovah's name with their pedophile coverup are probably sending up prayers of joy not to be an MS or elder. And sisters are grateful to not be able to be ministerial servants even though the Bible calls Phoebe one I think at Romans 16:1. :)
Oh I avoided those privledges as long as I could. Some were thrust upon me.
But, I do know for a fact that the butt kissers get the privledges.
When my husband walked out on the "truth" right after returning from Pioneer School my father was so upset. He said, "Why'd he leave now! He could become an MS within 6 months because he went to Pioneer School!"
its all about.... "who" you know. simple as that. -- Zev
That's what I'm talkin' 'bout, baby! It also helps if... like... an elder studies w/ you.
Maybe it's 'what you know'.
Maybe it's 'who you know'.
Possibly it's 'what you know about who you know'.

Brothers that were overlooked tended to be ones that quietly worked hard and caused no fuss. I've seen brothers that were not on Wt. reader lists simply because everybody forgot about them. Where was holy spirit when you needed it?
