Now that IS a conspiracy - and we've got one here called "terra nullis". But we're not simply the target of one - we're doing it.

I agree with Simon for the most part. I believe the goverment is inept enough to never be able to carry off the conspiracies they are constantly accused of.

But, I don't for a minute think Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald.

There are probably some conspiracies out there, and some we hear about may have an element or two of truth to them, but as Simon says, "I don't believe that governments are so clever that they can keep things covered up so well"

Simon's comments just prove he is a part of The Conspiracy.

I'm sooooooooo glad the Professor brought the following point, and the author of the review agreed with him::

(It's also noteworthy that, as Professor Goldberg writes, conspiracies typically are a male preserve.)

I do think there are conspiracies - and that I'm not privey do them. Even if I was, I'm naive enough to accept that they would quickly swoosh over my head.

But how many conspiracies? Like who would know if they're well done. Well, maybe Oliver Stone would.

But, agreed, there are too many inept people in government to make them effective. Now, the side factions are a different story. Deviousness is how most people/groups take power. It's after they have power, they seem to get quite inept. Go figure.
