The missing ' and " and other symbols is caused by bugs in the interface that is used to enter the text (The thing I'm typing in right now).

Hoooooooow ever, I am a bit swayed by butalbee's explanation! Perhaps we should round up all the smurfs and burn them at the stake and see if that helps!

I've already started putting out some rat traps and D-CON rat poison to catch them!
