Welcome nilfiun,
SYN is refering to our play on words about the org.---we call it the "borg". If you are familiar with Star Trek then you will know what the borg is, but the answer to your ? is yes he is refering to still being a JW. There are all types of people here--some JW's some ex-JW's, and some who used to date a JW or have a friend that is a JW. We just want to know where you are coming from is the only reason why we ask.
Please don't be shy, we all have opinions and we don't always agree, but we are here for each other.

Well, I could never be re-activated. Different people have different experiences in this religion (I guess that goes without saying) and this religion and my temperment just weren't suited for each other. I'd like to say I made some sort of courageous stand as I walked away from the J.W.s, but I didn't. I moved far, far away from everyone and everything I ever knew about eight years ago and never went to another meeting again.
