OMG...what a waste of a day.....my wife is in full cult mode. we had one chair seperating us in the bleachers. we did not talk on the way to and on the way from. and still have not talked. full cult mode....it sucks.
And what's up with all the videos? they are so stupid and low quality....it's laughable. makes me wonder if there is subliminal messaging in the videos.
i am at this point just ignoring my wife...it's not worth the fight or time. she will never wake up. it sucks!!!!!!!!
I just got back to the motel, and indeed it was horrible! Rock hard seats, no room to move, about 2, I went to the van, and stayed till it was over!

Wife is so freaking blind.....it sucks is all i could say.....the last talk was a GB member....so freaking lame...almost like he was embarresed to be up there.

Hey there, if you want to stop going insane, look up the scriptures they show and look at them in context, even follow the cross references.
The scriptures that they are twisting, which are many are a good source to ask your wife - "hey check this out".... "look what I found"...."what do you think this means"...maybe it will start the little doubts.
We have found with our family when you attack the GB you get nowhere but asking bible questions in a non-confrontational manner gets further.

I can picture you both sitting there. You fuming over being there out of a sense of obligation, and her fuming that you were not playing the game. And the icing: mutually ignoring each other. Ugh!
Two adults, each in their own way, frustrated by what is, with a very limited capacity for seeing things from the other's point of view and unable to accept the other exactly as he/she is.
Sounds like a living hell, with no sharing, no initmacy, no fun, no common interests.
How do you stay together, man?
Whilst even a day at a regional convention is clearly wasted and would be better spent elsewhere, what of a lifetime living this way?
Life is far too short, and just one single day spent in mutual fuming and ignoring of the other is one too many in my view.
