If a GB member dissented now, it would have A LOT bigger impact than ray franz ever did.

The GB are playing with fire. Unlike ray franz era most JWs know the name of the current crop of the GB.

A dissented GB member could make big bucks from a sold story or 2, or from a book deal. They would not be left out on the street that's for sure.

It would be interesting if say for example Lett got tired of being told his idiosyncrasies are too distracting and he was put on the back burner. He resents that slap on the face and decides to lash back at the other six. A turf war ensues and he ends up leaving Bethel. The now GB-6 want him totally out of the picture, he starts airing dirty laundry, and they move to silence him into oblivion by attempting to DF him for unbecoming brazen conduct. He write a tell-all book.

Given the amount of negative "press" he's been given in ex-JW forums do you think he'd feel welcome enough to spew out the GB's secrets?

Could the ex-JW community accept him as one of their own?

Would he be able to measure up to the likes of Ray F. and his CoC and ISoCF books?

It would be interesting wouldn't it?

Yeah, he would feel welcomed, because we aren't like JWs. He's a GB member, he shouldn't expect any less than us slagging him off in the past.

I'm sure it would far surpass any good that ray franz books did.

On this subject, if TOMO3 keeps spewing the sh*t he does, with all the negative press that comes with it, it might be him in the firing line. The men behind the curtain won't put up with that shit forever.

I wouldn't make him feel welcome, because he is a c*nt of a human being.

Some of them might grin and bear it...after all they are mostly pig headed 'company men'. They are like paid clergy so stand to lose a cushy life if they make waves.

BW: I have no legal theory? I don't know law do you?

I am not a lawyer, but I did work as a paralegal for several years and learned quite a few things.

One important fact is that there is often a big disconnect between what is wrong and what is illegal. If something is not against any laws there is precious little a person can do about it using the legal system.

You're theory is, of course, based on the assumption that Lett can read and write.

    I agree with you there.

My thoughts are that laws are changing or adapting to the increased attention certain wrongs that frauds like the Watchtower corporation use to inflict harm and get away with it.

or new laws for charities to follow to be legally considered a charity.

Laws prohibiting the using of a vow of poverty to avoid paying for labor without any kind of reasonable compensation for services rendered used by a charitable organization would go against some moral disgust that eventually makes some type of compensation law that would render such activity illegal and force some type of more fairer treatment of people who sign their live away to a corporation.

It's doubtful he's even aware of how he's viewed here.

And even if he was, he'd interpret it as evidence that he's right.
