I think sincere people around here felt the same as you when discovered all the truth about the JWs. Many people had dedicated their own entire life to this cause, to God Jehovah. Very sad stories, believe me! Very sad!

When they say that Jehovah's Organisation can be clean of those who have sinned and be clean by the "spiritual water" of the Faithful Slave, remind me of this picture. Yeah, the pure water from the WTS:

I had a LOVELY visit from the ELDERS today.......Well they sure were'nt happy! They tried to patronise me and talk down to me as though they were in the RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! The cheek of it! Well, I gave it to them full on! They could not even answer me when I asked them why did they ALWAYS ATTACK EVERY other religion for being part of the UN when that is what they are, NGO's? They didn't even know what an NGO was!!!!!! How can they come to my door, saying they were only using the LIBRARY for research when they didn't even know what they were called!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!! They are so confident when they go to peoples doors, because lets face it people at the doors don't know too much about the Bible. But put a Witness (2 ELDERS), up against another Witness whos particular skill is ripping to shreds other peoples faiths, and this spells TROUBLE! They left saying that they would have to look into it more, even though the head of publicity for the Witnesses in London had told Stephen Bates of the Guardian that this WAS NOT A SECRET! So why did no one know??? Also, I said that ALL the congregations should be told of this since it is NOT a secret. I was immediately told NO! That would not be right! Where are they coming from?? They make Scientologists look sensible, and they are nuts! But at least they're open about the fact they are only out for your money, unlike the Witnesses! I noticed that to be an NGO you MUST be a NON PROFIT organisation, I wonder if this is why they SUDDENLY stopped charging for the literature in Europe?? Here I thought they were doing it out of the goodness of their hearts!! How wrong!! Another thing I didn't like was that when you go up to get literature you are told how much it costs to produce and informed that there is a LOVELY PRICE LIST just there on the desk!! I thought they relied on Donations, I was obviously WRONG!! Well they are richer than the Church of England!!
The whole lot of them make me SICK!
I was so angry after they left that I wrote a letter to the LONDON BETHEL and I let rip big time!!!!!! I faxed it so that they would get it immediately. I wonder how long it will take them to think of an answer! Oh and I told them not to treat me as an idiot by using the LIBRARY ACCESS excuse, I told them to think up a new one for me!! (just to make it interesting!) I doubt if they'll get back to me, but I feel better for writing it, even though it'll probably go straight into the bin!
Even if they did 'clean out' the society, how could you ever trust them? Deuteronamy talks about anyone who claims to be a prophet of God and prophesies and they DO NOT come true, then they did not come from God. 1914,1915, 1918, 1925 and 1975, not forgetting that in the 1950's they were going to prophesy yet again that the end would be in 1956, but after some thought they decided against it just incase it didn't happen cos they figured 'how will we get out of this if it doesn't happen again??'

I agree totally. How do you 'reform' without trust? How? You trust that a new foundation will be built and 'reformed' within? Where could anyone possibly aquire such trust?
