i said that to several jw's...no one listened...and accused me of apostacy. The Truth of the Matter is...Christ returned before that scripture was written...when He appeared to the disciples...and began His Rule because as He said when approaching them "All authority has been given to me" ....this statement would only be made by Him when He gets His Kingship. Then paul wrote that scripture...so in Truth...Paul was declaring that He is coming..and we should eat His flesh and Drink His blood until He comes to gather the Chosen. The Mistake the jw's make (as everyone knows) is they think he returned in 1914 in His "invisible" rule. This is a lie because The Master (Christ) was given all authority when He was resurrected. So there goes 1914. ~FS

The Watchtower Society has at least two seperate definitions for Jesus' arrivial. First is his invisible presence (since 1914) then they have his "coming' which means he is to Judge, which according to them is yet to occur. It is the latter that they attach to the text 'keep doing this until I arrive' They view his coming as King to execute Judgement as the time in which they should stop celebrating the memorial.

Watchotwer Sept. 15 1998 pg.16-17 Waiting in "Eager Expectation"

"Although present as King since 1914, Jesus Christ must yet judge systems and individuals before executing judgment on those he finds to be wicked ... The apostle Paul specifically stated that Jesus Christ will destroy "the man of lawlessness"the apostate clergy of Christendom, a prominent part of "Babylon the Great."

"In the near future, Christ will judge people of the nations on the basis of how they have acted toward his brothers yet on earth. We read: "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

So after Jesus' presence THEN he comes, oh ok, that makes sense. So everyone, when talking to a JW and you mention the coming of Christ, be sure you know their double talk, or else you might confuse Jesus' coming with his presence or his arrival with the parousi'a or his coming as judge with his coming as King. Those JW's are so intellectual
