Case in point, I got a phone call from my mother after that recent KM disfellowshipment article, and now I have no family left as a result of this wicked cult. Do you understand that? But I am not supposed to be angry?

I dont think she is saying be all lovey dovey towards them, she is simply saying dont hate them and dont repay them with evil. Notice how also anger wasnt condemned.

As for the dubs seeing the error of their ways, well, didnt you? Didnt many many others? And surely many more will? That they will no longer be dubs is the entire point...

I think the point has been missed by many in this thread. From what I see, it is saying anger towards the tower is natural and expected, but dont let it escalate out of control into damaging hatred.

After that August KM article came out, my do-gooder JW elder dad (who refuses to see his innocent granddaughter) went and told his 90-year-old JW mama to stop associating with me and my sister! LOGICAL, I didn't miss the point of this thread. You see, the WTS has not only wished harm on others, it has deliberately invoked it !!

So is it wrong (as you work through the emotions and the helpless feelings) to WISH harm on the WT Society? I think not. The ideas of seeing the Society perish suddenly are pure wishful fantasy, I think all would agree. Should that STOP us from expressing that desire, against this heartless fanatical machine that operates under the guise of love and Christianity? In the name of free speech, the answer is NO!!

There's a difference between wanting to see the end of a publishing company masquerading as a loving Christian organization, and actually harming individual members. But those who rightly point out the egregious harm done by the WTS in the name of Christ ought not to be muzzled. It seems like SJ's initial post on this thread was directed that way for some reason.
