Nope, there is no one I particularly hate, but I hate what certain people are doing, applying double standards, abusing innocent childeren etc!

I've only truly hated one person in my life and that was my abuser. Interestingly, I didn't reach a level of hatred until I started trying to heal from the abuse and he began attempting to block that healing. He was "upset" with me for going to the elders for help, and allowing the little "secret" to come out. I did hate him, quite intensely, for some time. I had very vivid fantasies of killing him. At the meetings, I would stare at the back of his head and imagine standing up and blowing him away. I am not a violent person by nature and it was a great relief to me when these thoughts finally began subsiding. That was years ago and now I can say that I no longer hate him. I simply do not care about him in any way.
As Mimilly said, hate is such a destructive emotion, it poisons the person who hates and I consider it a victory that I was able to let that hatred go. I don't forgive him for his actions, he's a pretty evil person all the way around, but I don't dwell on it nor allow it to affect my life or emotions any longer.
