  New Support Group Seeks Investigation of Church Hierarchy

  WHAT: Monday September 16 th at the UK Home office for Jehovahs Witnesses and later at local Kingdom Halls of Jehovahs Witnesses, a representative for silentlambs will deliver a toy lamb as a symbol of innocence lost, also adults molested as kids by Jehovahs Witnesses and advocates will deliver a formal request from the silentlambs organization for a church hearing to investigate possible criminal cover-ups by the denominations leadership for Jehovahs Witnesses the Governing Body. We will hold a news conference and announce a national march for molestation victims at Jehovahs Witnesses home office in , scheduled on September 27th. WHEN: Monday, September 16, WHO: William H. Bowen founder of silentlambs, a recently established support group for Jehovahs Witness abuse victims will be conducting.

  WHERE: Jehovahs Witness Home office for located at The Ridgeway, London NW71RN, at the front entrance.

  DETAILS:

  This is the first public event ever for child rape victims of Jehovahs Witnesses. William H. Bowen will request a meeting with leadership of Jehovahs Witnesses in U.K. to ask for assistance in petitioning USA Governing Body, to change policies that are detrimental to protecting children. According to William H. Bowen founder of silentlambs, We allege that Watchtower has established a child abuse policy that has ignored abuse survivors, protected child molesters and disfellowshipped those who have tried to support them. This will be a public statement that leadership for Jehovah s Witnesses (Governing Body) must stop hurting children. Silentlambs is formerly requesting the church to establish a tribunal to prosecute the Governing Body for their crimes against children.

  Every person who can make it is invited to attend. Anyone who wishes to support survivors of abuse. Put the word out to everyone you know and any support groups for child abuse survivors. The bigger the crowd the better and the more likely for press to report on the matter. This will give the march a boost in UK and help get the word out. Any help or support in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

  I took the original press statement read on CNN and modified it to they way it should be stated, does anyone agree?

  For Immediate Release

  STATEMENT

  We abhor the Governing Body for continuing a policy allowing the sexual abuse of children and will punish any Jehovahs Witness that shield child molesters from the criminal consequences of this gross and perverse sin.

  We expect the elders to report every allegation of child abuse immediately. Elders who do not report should be expelled from the congregation.

  Special care should be ta to ensure the victims are given ongoing professional assistance and counseling to help them deal with the pain of the abuse. They should be encouraged by elders to report their allegations to the authorities with the support of the congregation.

  Well Bill in my opinion it is a good statement and I am glad you are going to England. This will give the Society in New York an idea what to expect. Are you nervous Bill? I know I am shaking in my shoes for you. But I know you are an experienced speaker and you will do great.
