Hey, YOU NEVER KNOW!!! I never envisioned Home Shopping Network, etc. as you describe, but your "plan" is a really good one! Two Heads are Better Than One, as they say, so I hope you will pass your idea on to SL!That was my purpose in posting this reply. Bill and others with Silentlambs.org will see this idea and either run with it or not.
Whether this idea is deemed of "value" or not, it's my way of contributing the best I can. Unfortunately I don't have the resources to spearhead the project. Any manufacturer will give "volume" discounts to charities and often farm the work to some manufacturer south of the U.S. border or in some other country. Often cheap labor in the form of child laborers are used in the process as Kathy Lee Gifford discovered with her clothing line.
Therefore, the one volunteering in the capacity you mentioned for merchandising must possess the luxury of time and talent in finding a quality merchandiser who will ensure that no children are exploited in the manufacturing process. This is especially important for Silentlambs.org since they are championing the rights of children to be free of any form of abuse (even though the emphasis is not specifically on labor, but I know Bill would still want to avoid this).
The Society would sink their teeth and their P.R. would run with ANY situations where Silentlambs.org's merchandising volunteer used a manufacturer who exploited child laborers (as is said to occur in India and other countries without the strict laws of the U.S. on labor).
That is why such a volunteer position requires extreme competence and knowledge of the field of merchandising, IMO! I would not be qualified to navigate this minefield of manufacturers to ensure that laborers who manufacture the toys are treated fairly and that no child laborers are exploited in the production process. I also don't have the resources to fund a "Made in the USA" manufacturing job that is run with quality, ethics and integrity from soup to nuts, which is really required if Silentlambs.org is to be done justice.
My prayers go to Silentlambs.org and Bill Bowen in finding such a special and competent person to find both an ethical and affordable manufacturer that will go the "extra mile" in producing quality merchandise that might attract big retail distributors from KMart and Costco to Home Shopping Network and so on.

Here's something fun to do: I bought some candles from Bill & Sheila's company (I think it's www.triplescent.com) and I'm trying to decide which elders I want to give them to. As a purely loving gesture, of course! And of course I'm telling all the Witnesses I know to buy these perfectly wonderful candles. Might as well get a little back, right?

Great idea, Cruzan!
Syn, there wouldn't be an elder within a 100km radius who could feel safe if we were "on the prowl"! LOL

I got a brainstorm idea in reading your post:
Those who want to support Silentlambs.org could buy a dozen or more scented candles from Bill Bowen, sneak into their local Kingdom Halls at night, place the candles around the Kingdom Hall in a nice ceremonious pattern, light them, and call all the elders attending that Hall anonymously: "Brother [Elder's Name], someone is burning candles tonight in our local Kingdom Hall on behalf of all the congregations who attend there, in observance of all the young silent lambs who have been molested by elders and other members of the congregation. You may wish to go to the Kingdom Hall tonight to enjoy the smell of incense from those burning candles, and to pay your respects to silent lambs who attend Kingdom Halls with their parents around the world."
Of course, make sure all candles burned are placed on a fire-safe base so they can safely burn out. The point is to raise healthy awareness of the problem, not to inadvertently cause damage that would anger the elders and give their consciences an excuse to become even more defiant against this problem.
