This is not the time to be toying with the words of Jesus that concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. (Matt. 24:36) To the contrary, it is a time when one should be keenly aware that the end of this system of things is rapidly coming to its violent end.
In other words.....pay no attention to Jesus words......be KEENLY aware....the end is near.....even though I don't know or the angels....only my father and.............Jehovah's witnesses.

The 'boys in writing' have a particular penchant for adding verbs that inspire fear and guilt. Notice the word 'violent'. It was not sufficient to say simply this system of things is coming to its end....NO it had to be its VIOLENT end. A very powerful motivational word. They don't miss a trick.
Then they go on to play with peoples minds by pulling a Nixonisim. "Make no mistake about it" was tricky Dick's favorite to obfuscate his lies. Not to mention that the 'day and hour' comment almost bordered on the inference that if you question our prophecy regarding 1975, you are questioning Almighty God himself. It is sufficient my ASS!
They are so transparent it is almost laughable, except for the fact that this and other similar assinine statements caused so many to actually sell all their belongs, cash in their retirements, insurance policies, move to 'where the need was greater'.........then Fred Franz has the balls to accuse the brother's and sister's of reading more into what he said, then he intended. Truly a little weasel of man, both in stature and character!
To accept the WTBS as spokesman for God, one must by mere association, conclude that their god Jehovah, is supportive of men who lie, who employ con artist methods, who will do anything to protect their image. To me their god Jehovah is a blaspheme of any semblance of a loving creator, they so vehemently try to proclaim.
