After reading all the sad stories of how some here have been abused in a multitude of ways, if you had the opportunity now, would you speak up? If you tended to be shy or insecure, would you want to speak out now, if you could?

I already did that. One of the COs that stopped by my house once to "encourage" me to shut up (or else), I let fly. I think I used 5 of the 7 Deadly Words on him. Then I wrote a hot letter to the elder that accomanied him and asked him if the letters F.O. meant anything to him. You'd think that would've helped, but it didn't. It's no fun punching a blob of Jell-o.

Trust me, it was MOST impressive. I was there. Big Tex wrote a fantastic letter too.

I got to tell off an elder who omitted my husband's name from his mother's funeral talk on purpose, knowing the situation with the family. We made a big stink out of it, and about a week before their C.O.'s visit, this bozo called to apologize - he was ordered to. Well, it was early on a Saturday morning, and I'm not really a morning person before my coffee and donuts. And I had been waiting for the opportunity to take a chunk out of this guy, so I let him have it with both barrels of my Greek half. It was most satisfying. Didn't change anything, but I got to vent and then cut him dead every time I saw him at a convention. He actually chased me down one time and asked me "aren't you ever going to speak to me again?" and I told him "no," and walked off. Should have dropped the F-bomb, upon reflection, but I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of having something to report about me.

To tell you the truth, from all the JW's I met, and I know quite a few, I even have close family in the trooth; most of them are good and upright people.

When you associate with them, which I have in the past few weeks you can see the actual indoctrination at work. These poor people are victims of a religious scam. The ones to blame are the ones sitting in their Tower . They are the ones misleading the flock. They should be targeted.

To get a dubb out of the indoctrination cycle is very hard, so to tell them off is not a way I would use. I have tried that before, but it just sets you back years. Things you try to build up for years can be destroyed in seconds.

Ofcourse when you find their leaders who know what's going on, I would say an F bomb will not be enough.

I was going to say F/off too if they come to the door with all the liturature...MY mom used to look out out a window to see who was knocking an then go to the back bedroom and ignore their knocking BEST SHE COULD...I just yell who is it and on the 2 pound I turn up my TV and they can knock until their nuckles bleed 4 all I care..They can get you out in public too ya know--my kid LISA usually wears her walkman or be readig a book of choice and it is not WT crap either..SILENCE IS GOLDEN SOMETIMES I think soooo 4 me I may as well save my breathe and not say F--- off a-- holes....queenie
