Bruce Baker, who led the press conference a week ago, in Seattle, just called to tell me that the reporter who wrote the article for the Seattle Times, had called him to say there were 36 victims who replied to her after her article came out. They all have told her the information is correct, but that they are fearful of "coming out" because they are still active JW's, and are in fear of being df'd. She is planning an in-depth article in the Times to correspond with the march on September 27.

    Stay tuned.

    WHOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That's great. There are many "silent"lambs out there that we are giving a voice for. Everyone should be very proud of their hard work.

Thanks for posting the infor, Mulan.

Bruce Baker has been a great behind-the-scenes player in this, especially in the Pacific Northwest. (Can anyone forget the Tacoma Dome parking scandal?)

He deserves our gratitude. Ven, can you pass this along to the gentleman?

I'm glad to hear that more lambs are realizing that they can speak up. It's great that reporter is going to continue looking into the issue. He's doing a great service for the lambs and for the community in general.

That's really wonderful. The news is reaching the right people -- the victims.

It is sad that there are more victims, but at least now they know they have the support and avenue to come forward. I hope this works out well. Thanks for letting us know!

    Thanks Mulan,

I was just thinking the other day about the way the WBTS tried to make our concerns over their shameful child-molestation policy seem like we were all alone. Little did we know just how many felt like we did and how many silent lambs would eventually roar. What must take place, is taking place.

This is absolutely fabulous, that survivors have come forward, not fabulous that they were victimized. But I had a feeling if we got the word out locally, more would come forward.
