Thank you for the links JHK. Insightful.

The biblical prohibition on blood involves eating it.

I wonder how many JW know the analogy between a blood transfusion and a dextrose/feed transfusion is false - a blood transfusion is not food and won't save your life if your're starving, in the same way a kidney transplant wont. A bloodtransfusion is analogous to an organ transplant - something the wtbs used not - and now does - allow.

    Food for thought.

I guess it shows how much Wt stands behind its members. Weather on the technicality of been baptised or not. That women died under very stressful and appalling circumstances. I hope Nathaniel Gbedemah and his minions rot in hell for shitting on that poor women like they did.

Alfred Adams of Takoradi, reported that “Rebecca Dankwa and her mother, believed to be worshipping at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Church,” refused to accept blood transfusion “on the grounds that their religion forbids blood transfusions,” and she died as a result.

Since this person mentioned in the report was not one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, we are at a loss as to why the name of Jehovah’s Witnesses should be linked to the story.
It is only a form of medical treatment—blood transfusion—that we object to,

    So the story is true..

There`s no mention of whether she was a baptized JW or not..

    Only that..

She attended the Kingdom Hall and Followed WBT$ Rules on Blood Transfusions..

What we know for sure is..

    .

Nathaniel Gbedemah Media Contact for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ghana..

Taking blood is much more dangerous than dying.

So, what they are saying is that even disfellowshiped JWs can't receive blood if their JW mom's conscience/religion doesn't allow it. Woman was probably trying to be reinstated and mom was busy bullying her so that she wouldn't take blood AGAIN and lose hope of reinstatement. Which is proof that blood did save her life before, that JWs do DF for taking it.

You know what's sad? JW gramma will raise the other kids while defaming their mom for accepting blood when it was too late to save her. She died and will not even be mourned.

This is an excellent example of the idiom - "throwing someone under the bus."

So we learned something from this experience.
