Thats a great pic Roy, ty for sharing it. We are 0-2, but we have played a AAA team and a AA team, and we are a A team. but the games were very close.

You think that my first kid looks good , you ought to see the second and third versions!!! Hey ,what can I say , we got it down right !!!!!!!! Just kiddin,,,,,,,,,, but we are proud of them all.
My son is a babe magnet, lol, he is going to homecoming with a cute blonde( she looks grown) oh my!!! and she is a junior in high school ( he's a freshman) . And she is already driving!!!!!
Turns out , we have known this girl since she was a baby and her brother was one of my nephews best friends, and he is serving in the army overseas. He is to come home for homecoming, and my son told me he better walk the line in the way he treats this guy's sister!!! LOL They are all good kids and hopefully we have taught them all a little responsibility. I hope anyway.I loved the picture of your son, Roy, he is a cute as can be. Tell him we hope he wins lots of games for the team and we will be waiting to hear how he does, from his extended family.
I just wanted to thank you for your interest in our family and the kind words. My kids are very lucky to have one set of grandparents who adore them, but my parents are not in the picture at all. So when wild turkey and I tell you about our kids it is with pride and wanting to share how happy we now are. I only used to dream what my son would look like in a football uniform, he always wanted to play as a dub, but had to go to meetings, while others lived their childhood dreams.
Now it is his turn to live and have the life , his father and I were deprived of. So, I guess, yeah we are living thru the kids and loving every minute of it. We just have to remember to don't give up on our dreams for our future, we are still young.
Even thou his team is from a small country school, he is learning that winning would be great andis the ultimate goal, but the brotherhood and teamworkis what keeps them going.
Thanks to all of you out there our "other" family!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugs,,,,,,,,, Dede

WT, Ya I know how that is going up against teams in other divisions. The town my kids and I are in has a population of about 5,000 and last year we played against teams from towns about the same size. We went 9-0 and won the championship. This year we're in a new division going against much bigger towns and it's tough. We're 2-3 but each game has been close. Isn't coaching your son a blast??!!
Hey Eyes, yup, I know what you mean about the joy of seeing our kids doing what we couldn't. I played a few sports here and there as a kid but would have given my left arm to play football each and every year (let alone have a father who coached). My daughter is dying to be a cheerleader (besides wanting to be a cheerleader) but mom is drawing the line. Be sooooo thankful that you and WT left together. Sounds like you two have a great thing going. Keep it going!! :)
