Xander,
Yesterday I made a not very gracious comment about your intellectual abilities in an exchange that we had. I wish to offer my unreserved and public apology for this comment.

Someone who's not afraid to admit that he might have made a mistake.
The mark of a real adult!

Oh, that's okay - I was considering the source...

lol....You ceratinly have a lot of that, sauce that is....

EMAN; Although the apology is exemplary....A REAL adult would not have made the original comment.

Even adults make mistakes sometimes Mike....
at least that is what I keep telling my daugher
I made a mistake once. But things worked out. She got a lawyer, I got a lawyer, they made money. We split nothing 50/50. Worked out.
XENA, You are absolutely correct. As an ADULT we should carefully consider our comment BEFORE uttering them. Even with an apology, words once spoken/written can never be retracted.
MIKE
As I made my comments publicly, I apologized publicly. The apology does not mean that I have changed my opinion of Xander's mental grasp of certain situations, it does not mean that I would not think the same comment in the same circumstances. It does mean that I regretted that I made my thoughts public. That is the end of that. I have no interest whatsoever in a discussion analyzing the vagaries of apologizing in all its nuances.
As far as I am concerned it takes an adult to apologize, it takes a child to refuse one, and it takes a rather foolish person to think that they sum up whether I am a REAL adult or not by a simplistically analyzed situation. I care not at all what anybody on this Board thinks of me, as I have mentioned a number of times, I do care though what I think of myself.
Best regards - HS
HS, Did you skip your meds today???
