Thinking of LMN and what makes him/her tick... might make me take a wrong turn and pick a door to a Nightmare, tonite.

What you say above, makes me think of a movie I saw recently, where a psychiatrist - no, not even a theologian - was trying to understand the mind of a person who had no feelings and even joked about the tragic deaths of others...

...and the doctor came up with what I thought was a brilliant definition of evil.

The psychiatrist concluded after observing this cold-hearted man, that the definition of Evil was: The Complete Lack of Empathy

Sorry to say, I think the definition fits LNM.
