I received a call from Grits yesterday. I had never met her. She said that she knew I wanted to go to NY and I did not have the funds. She said that she knew someone that wanted to pay my way. Dakota Red is that someone. Grits did tons of work getting airline and hotel info and sending it to myself & Dakota Red and he paid both airfare and hotel stay! I am blown away! I just want to say THANK YOU BOTH! '

Now I get to go and tell my story. I will attempt to find (in my small town) 6 little stuffed lambs to bring for the girls that I personally know that have been victimized. I will bring my letters from the WTS that show the lies they have spewed.

I am so excited to be able to meet all that come!

I am really amazed by the willingness of the people on this board to unselfishly consider the needs of others. It is simply awe inspiring. Special thanks should definitely go to Hamptonite21 and DakotaRed for personally helping some on this board to participate in this most important of events. I know that there are many others out there who have made personal sacrifices to attend the march and recognition should go to you too.

I am taking off my hat to all of you for generosity above and beyond the call of duty!

Heeeey Kids! I'm a little slow saying YOU'RE WELCOME but it was 'nuttin 'cuz I'm a compulsive researcher at heart... I haven't had time to hang out here at this great forum, and should be getting to bed but wanted to check and see if there was anything urgent going on.

Laurie! What a thrill, eh? Can't wait to see ya in person. If you can't find any lambs, let me know. I had ordered some from Gwyneth to eventually put at local KHalls, but I could bring them to NY (they are small) so you could put those names on them of other abuse victims. That is important, I think, to have a lamb for every victim.

Not sure if Larry of this forum has any extras left? Anyone know? He previously wrote he had extras (he's in NY, btw) and he would be willing to put anyone's name on them. But they may all have been designated by now, I just don't know... ???

PS: If anyone wants to share a room, I know another person who is going to have to stay at the YMCA otherwise. Sadly, I do not make a good roommate due to CFS/FM and terrible sleep, or I would offer myself.

I do need lambs! 7 if possible. I will pay for them when I get there. Also, I e-mailed "K" about sharing a room and am waiting for her reply. All she would have to do is pay for the upgrade (since mine is paid for thanks to Dakota. ) I need a reply today though because I have to make the change through the reservation company. I called the hotel and they said since we went through them (the reservation company) for the room I need to go through them for the upgraded room.

Laurie I am soooo very happy for you to be able to attend the march!!! And I am grateful to the wonderful people that have helped you to get there:) If possible Laurie could you get a lamb and put the names of my loved ones on it for me?? I will be happy to send you the money just let me know how much. I will be with all of you in thought.
