Wait a minute Gorbatchov, I don't believe that it's homosexuals who are only perpetrating the sexual child abuse in today's society, so you may want to reconsider that statement.
Sexual predators of the young can be either of heterosexual or homosexual preferences. The heinous crime is that they prey on the young and innocent to satisfy their sexual cravings.
The majority of known child abusers identify (and have been confirmed) as straight, regardless of which gender of child they abuse.
I know it's hard to wrap one's head around it at first, but it's true.
Vidiot= To clarify I'm not sticking up for watchtowers statement about homosexual abuse. But I wonder if the reason why the overwhelming amount of abusers are heterosexual is because 95% of the population is heterosexual, so naturally there would be more incidence of it.
I think it is telling that they make it sound like the abuse is happening from people the kids don't know or for those on the outside. This says nothing about being careful about people you do know. The research shows that the majority of sexual abuse happens with someone the child knows and trusts not from some creepy green blob.
It is fine to reference articles, but how about explaining how that is handled in the congregation and making THOSE policies and procedures clear? They can't because it would increase rather than decrease their culpability in the eyes of anyone actually paying attention.

Dr. Carole Jenny and her colleagues reviewed 352 medical charts, representing all of the sexually abused children seen in the emergency room or child abuse clinic of a Denver children's hospital during a one-year period (from July 1, 1991 to June 30, 1992). The molester was a gay or lesbian adult in fewer than 1% of cases in which an adult molester could be identified – only 2 of the 269 cases (Jenny et al., 1994).

Everything they say is either totally false and made up or sneaky half truths. Every time I hear a talk or read a paragraph from one of their publications it gives me a sickening feeling inside. I'm so disgusted with the WT and its hierarchs.
