So....Today I asked a few questions to my girlfriend. One thing led to another and My plan of not overwelming her with too many questions kind of went down the toobs. Questions about birthdays, holidays, john 1:1, why is it so important to stress the word donation, ect, ect. The thing that really really amazes me is that she had absolutley no knowlege of the false prophacies. most recently in 1975. of course she wasn't born yet. But she didn't even believe me. She claimed "why would the watch tower say something like that". She also had no knowlege that the watch tower is the only chanel for God to communicate, or that only the watch tower can understand the Bible. So.... I need to find some proof of this. Can any one tell me where I might begin my search. I don't want to be misinformed with here say. That would make my "Proof" look pretty weak, thus enforcing the fact that we are just throwing stones. Hopefully it would be something actually printed by the watch tower. Other wise I might have a hard time convincing her. Probally will anyway. But I hope some one has some advise on where to start. These links are awsome. just what I was looking for. But...Can anyone tell me how to actually attain a copy of the publications. Theres no ways she's gonna believe it unless its an actual watch tower publication that can be held in your hand. Thank you to all of you who are helping me out.

showme, if she doesn't believe all these links (since their source is "apostate"), tell her to type "1975" and run the CD ROM. She will find plenty.
But she might say, "But the Watchtower said they weren't sure." I've heard that from someone who was supposed to be smart, and it was the ultimate excuse for the WTS. (rolling my eyes ) But anyone with half of alive brain would know that it was not just a suggestion - it was something more than that.
I've heard that people sold their houses and businesses and even refused medical treatment. If the WTS is half decent, WHERE WERE THEY WHEN PEOPLE WERE MAKING SERIOUS SPECULATION? They NEVER discouraged their members making unnecessary sacrifice which many of them happened to be quite serious. Well, I take it back. Maybe they thought it was necessary for the jws selling and sacrificing their family, jobs, and even health for their organization.

all Kingdom Hall's have libraries that should contain most of these publications. - If you can raise her curiosity just enough to have a look after the meeting
I also think it is a powerful tool to show that the Society has misquoted people in its publications . I have verified a couple of the misquotes from "Creation" that are on the net and it blows their credibility away.

Which cd are you talking about? is it a watch tower cd? She told me today she would look up some of these things this weekend. so I will wait till friday to make the list, just incase there are more to add. so please keep them coming. I really appreciate everybodys help, knowlege, and prayers. -

Yes, there is an Official Watchtower Society CD-ROM put out by the Society which is called "WATCHTOWER LIBRARY", and can be Ordered at a Kingdom Hall (however they may be on "Back-Order").
The WATCHTOWER LIBRARY CD-ROM is supposed to contain all the Watchtower Issues going back to 1950 and I believe all of the other Publications going back to 1970.
Not 100% sure on which Publications are excluded.
Also, I believe that each and every Kingdom Hall in the USA has a LIBRARY ROOM filled with just about every Publication they have ever released.
