    Wow Venice!

    Thanks for posting your story. Being in a position of doubting the beliefs of the WTBTS myself it is so frightening to think of the totalitarian control these people have to wreak havoc on the lives of people they purport to love. It makes me so angry that our God given freedom of thought is infringed upon the extent where even THINKING something contrary to Watchtower doctrine in grounds for disfellowshipping and deserving of the label apostate. To treat people so cruelly and then call themselves christians is complete hypocrisy. I'm glad that you have found this forum Venice, it is a great help.I look forward to reading more of your posts.

    Wow you guys are wonderful. It was really hard putting that all down and exposing my feelings like that, but I wanted to share, people keep asking and I thyought it was time for me to write it. I just want to say thank you frome the depths of my soul, for your comments they made me cry!!!! You are trully a blessing as is this board and others like it!

    I am so sorry. I would like to talk to your father some day. Does he have an email address? I can relate to your story. I would be a bad parent to teach my children what someone else believes rather that what I believe. I see no alternative but to continue teaching my children the truth and take what comes. I know how vulnerable I am now, as an inadvertent comment from one of my children will open me up to inescapable condemnation. Please put me in touch somehow with your father. Maybe we could be of some encouragement to each other.

    Hi Venice:

    I just read your story and the Tacoma News article. It just boggles my mind how so much garbage is going on.

    I was impressed how you stood up to the "committee" and were prepared with much info for them, even though they ignored it and DF'd you anyway.

    Could you give me an idea of what you prepared in advance, to hit them with?

    I'd appreciate a few tidbits.

    Thanks for any help you can give.
