I am 65 years old and sitting here with tears in my eyes because those lambs look so lonesome hanging on those doors. I am smart enough to know these are stuffed animals, but looking at the pictures is still difficult. Lets hope they have the same effect on the people who go thru those doors.

Shutterbug I felt sad leaving them there but that is how they left US - alone and isolated with no support.
After the elder (door-to-door work came to my home I realized HE will be one of the onew to talk about my lamb in the front door of the hall. I didn't tell he I was the one who left it there. In fact I didn't mention it. But if that is where he went for the service arrangement he would have already known about it.

Lady Lee, (((((Big Hugs)))))
That one little lamb in the door says soooo much!
What your mother did to you is so sad. I understand why you couldnt bring yourself to taping the lambs mouths.

Sisteract - it was my way of being with you all in NY.
A few of us did the same or will do the same in our areas. I like the idea of the lambs hitting different cities at different times. They will never know who or where they will strike next
Yes "Those poor little lambs"
so many are grown now and more able to break free of the silence. We are and we will continue to break silence and take back our voices
silentlambs rawk and so do their true supporters.
I cannot imagine my family supporting my speaking out like this. So thank you all

Lady Lee,
I commend you for your efforts. I know it had to make them think, even if was just the one person retrieving it with the intent to toss it away. There was so much love in what you did.
Sometimes, it's the small voice that is heard after all.
Love,

jwsons - how on earth did you find that link????
Sentinel - that is the whole point - even if the only person who sees them throws them away. Although I suspect the elders will be notified.
Thanks

I admire your courage and caring, LadyLee. I wonder if anyone left a lamb at the KH I attend? Maybe a lamb will be visiting soon.
