Prediction Turnout?

  To orangefatcat, Sentinel, Dutchie, elsewhere, undercover and oh, Natan Nates your suppose to get back to us 'today' which is Saturday about your predictions. Personally, I went along with undercover. I search the news channels and I thought for sure that the O'Reilly Factor would cover it, nil.

  Since people don't like the witnesses anyways, any news of this nature would be further reason to hate them! Why should sexually crazed poltiticains make an issue out of pedophilia when it's right down their immoral, 'perverted' alley.

  Could it be that their holding this information for future use?

  I don't understand why the Media would jump all over the Catholics, but not the Witnesses?

  Doesn't make sense to me at all.

  I know there are A LOT more Catholics in the world than Witnesses, but still.

  It makes you wonder if this news coverage was controlled. My sister has been seeking some news coverage and she too has heard nothing.

  I guess the internet and forums of this nature is the most potent vehicle exposing the pedophile problem in the org.

  I'm waiting to hear the comments of those who have attended the march.
  Yes, it's a victory (small, but yet a victory) for them and those who supported them.

  Guest give it time. If the news media were inside Bethel they may have been threatened with libel, then on the other hand no one can stop freedom of the press or speech. Lets see what happens. It could be the silence before the storm.

  orangefatcat, oh, I will give it time. The org's silence on the march is to prevent any dust from flying out the Hdqts window.

  They will maintain their game plan as they have in the past.

  Why the Catholics and not the JWs?

  There are vastly more Catholics in the world than JWs. The Catholic Church's material holdings rival some developed countries. The WTS 951 million is nothing in comparison.

  Catholic Church around and influencing history since at least 200 AD.

  JWs only since 1879 and have not been involved in voting (until recently) and politics.

  The Pope has considerable influence in the world at large; while the governing body (who's that? the media will ask).

  The WTS may have loomed large in the lives of many that post here, but in the world at large JWs are a crackpot group that refuse transfusions, don't salute the flag, don't celebrate birthdays or holidays, and pester them at their doors.

  To remind too that SNAP (the Catholic group working against pedophiles in the Catholic organization) has been at work for over 20 years. It seems overnight to us, but they have been working hard and patiently to get their situation to its current point.

  Blondie that's also what I'm getting at, as you said, "....but in the world at large the JW's are a crackpot group....." When it comes to 'any' religion does it really matter?

  Hi Guest,

  Did you all notice that my weather prediction came true? Fair skies for the Lamb's march in NY Friday!

  Well.....aside from the reports from those that were there, who have since posted here, or relayed messages to family members and they posted here, I could find nothing on any of the news stations or newspapers.

  Quite frankly, I am baffled. Perhaps there is more brewing, and the media is waiting? Nah, that can't be. They are always after the news and present it, no matter what.

  Maybe we aren't "big" enough to raise that much attention. Catholics still get the attention because they are a bigger presense. The protesters in DC got more coverage, because it is sensationalism and government. Go figure. I did believe that MSNBC would make some sort of statement on the news about the march, and then do a followup program later.

  I really hate to bring this up, but you know, the WTBTS could possibly have "political contacts" in higher places helping to keep them out of the news. Despite the fact that they "claim" no political affiliations, who really knows what the inner sanctom is up to, and what power they have? They were connected to the UN weren't they? They protect the wicked people?

  Maybe they have more secrets in their closet than we could imagine.
