    goodmorning folks.

Gwen and i left at 4:30 am friday morning and made the 4 hour drive to nyc, queens yesterday. we had a great trip, and no problems at all.

we met at the pan american hotel restaurant, as arrainged in the yahoo groups, only to realize, there were more people staying there than were posting to the group. a bonus!

i met so MANY people, keeping names, board names, and aliases straight, has left this blonde in a whirlwind.

but to each and everyone of you we got to meet, those who post here, and those who don't and are members of other boards, support groups ect (some of which i had never heard of, but i'm so glad they are out there!).....

Gwen and I just want to tell y'all what an honour and p rivilege it was to meet each and every one of you.

we were both looking forward to this so much, and we had a great experience and had so many very interesting conversations with so many wonderful people.

many times during the day, I had to fight back the tears, holding back a flood of emotion as i looked around me.

this was one day in my life I WILL NEVER FORGET!

even as i sat here downloading the digital pictures off my camera, i could not stop getting choked up, or the tears from building up in my eyes looking at the day before and remembering what a powerful day it was.

    PICTURES:

I have 86 pictures from yesterday (1600x1200 resolution) , and 18 mpg (movies) 15 seconds in length each. (cuz thats what the camera does. 15 second clips)

To anyone who was there i extend the invitaion for you to email me, my address is open, and i'll burn them to disks and mail them to you.

i'll wait till i have a complete count before doing this, so i can plan accordingly.

I wanted to post these to the board, but i don't know who is safe to show, and who isn't. so rather than chance anyones exposure, i'll just keep this limited to those who were there, and keep correspondence private.

here is my email address: [email protected]

please do not post any of your personal information to this topic. email it to me privately.

you may however post any thoughts you had on your experiences, i would love to hear about them, as would lots of posters from the board here.

to 2 very special people i met:

to these that were supportive and who helped me through a terrible time in my life, i just want to tell you what a special moment it was to finally meet you in person.

    ((((((dungbeetle)))))) and ((((((venice)))))))

    what a day september 27th, 2002 was!

I'm so glad Gwen and I were there.

    History was made.

Zev and Gwenn I am so glad you were able to make it to this historical event and that you got to meet so many of the friends on the board. I see that you took lots of pictures. I sent you an e-mail.

I look forward to seeing you and Gwenn someday soon again. Bless you both

    All my love

Great news Zev. How many memories did the association bring back, except, this time it wasn't the WTBTS conventions?

Great idea not to show any pictures.

    Zev and Gwen,

So glad you both could be there. Just looking at the pics made me feel "emotional."

    Love to you both.

Congratulations to everyone who went to the March. Although you only numbered just over 100, many many more of us were there with you in spirit.

Glad you had a great time Zev. If it helps I can send you an FTP site that you could upload the pics / movies too and then make them available via this site.

    Well, hey Zev & Zaz!

Where you people get your names...........................

Zev - I'm so glad all went well - with the tremendous added bonus to meeting so many friends face to face for the firsttime.

And accomplish a work with a "mighty force."

Zazu! You must have figured out that typing with your full hand (unlike the finger people) is good exercise, eh? Lol.....you'll be flaming in the short future!

Congrats to all for a "fine work."

    ZEv,

Great meeting you and your wife. I wish you were in the lobby for the very loud party in the lobby last night. Once I figured out the Interent machine it began to rock.

the guys at the front diest were just staring at us. We kept feeding the machine dollar bills.

I wonder if you heard the very loud shouts of joy coming from down stairs after the news articles were on TV? I know we were so loud we could of woken the dead.

Hi Harold & Gwen! It was easy to spot & meet you, 'cuz I recognized you both from your pics on this board. Nice to meet you! I was spacy & tired that day (from getting ready all week and the trip up), but wouldn't have missed it. It was even better than I ever imagined! It was surreal, like a "high," with the excitement and love floating in the air all around us! It was also beautiful there at Pierrepont Park, the promenade, the river, and around Brooklyn, even with the hazy clouds (but it did NOT rain!!!). I'm so glad we stayed at the Pan American Hotel where there were others. Besides yourself and Somebody, I got to meet Jesika, Laurie, Jeannie, Kim, KB and another KB (two people with the same initials!), Erika & her Mom, Alejandra (sp?), TTBoy, Dana/Safe4Kids, LL (Larry, and his wife and daughter), Bill & Sheila of course, Mike Pence's family (GREAT KIDS!!! thanks 'Becca for the COOKIE! I ate it before going to bed that night!), Barb & Joe A., Jst2 and Joy2bfree, VeniceIT, and several others -- too many to remember everyone (so sorry, my bad brain!). I hope to write a "report" myself soon.

Noway, nice to meet you, too! Working that internet kiosk was a real pain! TTBoy, Jesika, myself and others did our best, but that rubber-coating over the keyboard made it rough to type. Also, who could concentrate on writing with all of the hoopla going on. Everyone was having too much fun! We got chastized by some on the first floor for hollering & cheering too loud during the 10 and 11 pm news broadcasts!

Michael3000, I'm not sure if I met you or not???

That's very nice of you, Zev, to offer to burn CD's. I will zap you about that, and I would be happy to donate for your time, the CD, the postage, etc. Do you have a paypal account? I could zap some moola to you!

I hope there is an Annual Silentlambs March REUNION, 'cuz I'd love to go do it all over again!
