He tried to tell me that the WTS didn't have a web site and there was just a lot of people who made their own.

An elder and a pioneer came to our house today, to visit Mom. My husband was in the backyard, by her door, with one of our grandkids. The pioneer acknowledged him, but the elder shunned him.
He heard the elder tell Mom he couldn't get too close to her because he had a "really bad cold". What is he thinking, coming to visit a 90 year old woman, when he has a cold?
Great job, Lady Lee. They never actually come to my door, but it would be interesting.

This man is a LEADER in the congregation but does not have a clue of what is going on, even what is own organization is doing online.
Good example of the effect of keeping the congregation in the dark. This is not true of all elders, but how long can the smart ones last?

I asked them if they had internet access at home and they said yes. I suggested they check out the org website and look for the policy.
Think he really needs to check it out - seems to think there are no contradictions - just not a lot of space on a web page to include all the details that went into the elders letter

Hi LL, All,
I envy your experience. Every time a JW comes to see me they all have promised to do some research and get back to me. NONE have ever returned. I want them to come back but they don't. I am sure my knowledge and my library intimidates them.
They can sure dish out their crap behind closed doors in their tax free buildings grilling some teenager but they are not nearly so comfortable on my turf staring at their own Corporation produced library. They expose themselves as the shams and cowards they are.
Hope you are doing well. I always enjoy your posts.

Here is a way to PROVE to every JW, that there is INDEED an Official Watchtower Website:
Simply open up a Watchtower Magazine (a recent issue), and I believe it is near the Copyright info, it says www.watchtower.org in every recent Issue!
