I have to disagree here. Not a fan of How I met your Mother but Friends was pretty funny imo. I've seen plenty of shows with laugh tracks that do not succeed at making me laugh. I just change the channel. Not a big fan of the Phoebe character but I have found myself laughing at her at times too. But not always. But he rest of the cast and writing I found quite amusing and worth watching. Everyone has their own tastes and I wouldn't think someone is brain dead for not liking some of my all time favorites, MASH, I love Lucy, Seinfeld, Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm just to name a few.
