It wouldn't be worth my time. Even if they agree with you privately as an individual, they will never admit it in a group. They will go back to their little GB meetings, jockeying for influence and power, or quietly hoping the whole meeting would soon be over with a minimum of disagreement.

As much as I enjoy Ray Franz' books and admire what he has done with his life, he did not choose to leave; he was asked to leave and had his DF'ing orchestrated. He did not stand up at Bethel and say that things were wrong and fight to change the internal structure although I'm sure he wasn't just a yes man.

Has anyone ever had an elder, CO, DO say to you privately, "Oh, I'll support you" and then when the moment comes they are mute or even worse denying they ever said it.

Personal survival is the most important thing to them. And they say JWs aren't political!

"I know what you're thinking: "Did he fire six shots, or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But, being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya punk?"

HERE IS ALL I WANT TO SAY TO A GB MEMBER, ESPECIALLY TEDDY: Miranda Rights

    1. You have the right to remain silent. (Although JWs have a hard time keeping their trap shut.)

    2. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. (Including anything written in your publications, and especially those juicy BOE letters.)

    3. You have the right to talk to an attorney before answering any questions. (because you are really going to need an attorney, or better yet, here is Johnny Cocheran's phone number.)

    5. You have the right to have your attorney present during the questioning. (Because you are too stupid to keep your trap shut.)

    6. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you without cost, before or during questioning, if you desire. (The Watchtower Society will pay your bill, and it will be a biggie ... Johnny Cocheran's fees are not small.)

    7. Do you understand these rights? (Awe, what's the use, you're too brain dead to know what you are doing ... so maybe you need a court appointed shrink.) ... BUT ...

IN THE END YOU ARE GOING TO GET TO SHARE A LITTLE 6' X 6' CELL WITH A 300 LB LOSER NAME BUBBA ... WHO WILL BE CALLING YOU SWEETIE FOR THE REST OF YOUR NATURAL LIFE.

I think I would calmly and respectfully tell them of the harm their policies about blood, molesters and shunning have done to so many. I would do this by politely reading many excerpts from many posts here and show them that so many are still hurting and how so many families are ripped apart by their misguided policies. I would end it by reading the Gospel scriputres where Jesus mentions his commandment to love each other and your neighbors and tell them that hurting people isn't showing love.

But first, I would beat them severely about the head and shoulders to get their attention!

I'd ask him to show me how long he could hold his breath. I'd help him break his old record.
