  Thank you all for your kind comments. Michelle isn't my daughter. She's my son's ex-girlfriend. Just too darn smart to marry him. Too bad there isn't a term for her other than ex-gf. She's great and is going back to college at age 28 to get her creditionals to become a school teacher. She's made a good living now but thinks as a mom that being a teacher would allow her a lot more time with Maddie.

  Maddie has super chubby cheeks. We all hope they will go away

  Yes, they're cuter than I am. I just have to settle for "not so bad for an old guy".

  Gumby Michelle is not a witness although her aunt is. Michelle tells me that auntie's life is a wreck and it's mostly because of her being a witness. She allows Maddie to attend meetings with auntie but will never allow Maddie to become one. Between Michelle and us I can assure you that Maddie is safe attending those meetings. Plus it gives Michelle some sunday morning time to sleep in.

  I know what you mean COMF. My oldest son hasn't had any kids and my middle son was 34 before he had one. But I don't blame anyone for waiting on having kids, or not having them these days.

  Your right LB. No need to worry about Maddie becoming one! It's hard enough for witness parents to keep their kids in dubdom going to 5 meetings a week. Good thing the dubs do not have sunday school for tikes, or she might enjoy it as a little kid.
