Rose was not a child when she was allegedly inappropriately touched by C. T. Russell. The allegations have never even been substantiated. Russell was never on the Governing Body, or anything like it, as the GB did not exist before the early 1970s Chitty was never, as far as I know, accused of child molestation, but of homosexual relationships with adult men.

With the current the allegation that Theodore Jaracz is a child molester, this now brings to five the number of Governing Body members who are alleged child molesters. Your inaction to these allegations along with the lack of compassion offered to abuse survivors within the organization have given many brothers and sisters great cause for concern. The lack of one word of apology argues this conclusion further. Is there not one spiritual man left who works at Bethel?

It is going to be very interesting when Bill does finally respond. From how I read Bills letter he is referring to five current GB members. UNBELIEVABLE.

Don't worry about this. There are bigger fish to fry. If NONE of the GB EVER molested anyone, there are still bigger things going on. GB molesters (if true) is just the frosting on the cake.

Quit speculating, people! The child-abuse issue has taken on its own life and cannot be silenced with or without Bill and other high-profile people. Bill will agree with me on this. The lambs are silent NO MORE!

I understood the letter to be in the present tense also. This letter doesn't include men who are dead. These men seem to be current GB members.

My confusion mainly rests on the issue concerning Bill's status. He's df'd........the GB or any JW will not even acknowledge him or his letter, IMO. This isn't important family business. lol.

Also, IMO it is key to keep in mind that BB still believes most of the WT false teachings. He has an issue w/ molestation and rightly so but he is not exactly an 'unbeliever' by our definition. He has been thru major stress in the past 2? years. He was df'd for trying to protect innocent children but he is still in the mindset of jw ways. He will act like a jw because he still is one in his head. It's his heart that sees a problem. Remember all the time that it takes to de-program from all the bull teachings? His head must be swarming. He very well may think that he will tear down the Gb and restore the jw's to high ground w/ Jehovah again. Most likely, he hasn't evaluated the evil blood policy. I honestly don't know if this poor man has had a moment to even reconsider all that he has been taught. This is why, IMO we will see behavior from him that seems odd. I can only hope and pray that he will soon have the time to sort his personal beliefs and private life out. Dj

Bill Bowen said in that Letter that there are 5 ALLEGED molesters who are Governing Body Members, he didn't say "THERE ARE DEFINITELY 5 MOLESTERS ON THE GOVERNING BODY!".

I don't understand why so many have made this Letter a "life or death" issue for the silentlambs.

BTW, I am planning to gather all of the Bill's Letters he has Posted on this Website and Post them on a single Thread.

So far, he has thrown an accusation but has not supplied proof or even names!

I feel Bill should not have said it if he did not plan to back it up. But unsubstantiation would only be a minor glitch. It is the voice of thousands of formerly silent lambs that will be heard over one unproven claim.
